Love the car but can't help but be disappointed with the underwhelming DRL's on this car. The GC has better, more BMW'esque lighting. I get it, it's a 2 series, but come on.
Edit: Just noticed the launch pictures had a more full and intricate DRL. Unless we're seeing nothing but non-premium cars? Last edited by Game; 11-07-2021 at 01:24 PM.. |

Yep, the standard headlights are very disappointing, but I think the adaptive looks good. I have 3 of the 6 Premium Pkg options on my car, but not the premium pkg itself. Makes me unhappy...

Premium pack is definitely a must, those standard DRLs are very miserable looking. Sport+ sounds great though.

Resounding no to exhaust tip surrounds, in fact I'd say it's somewhat WTF worthy.
Best exterior view IMO is from the side.

Exactly. Why does the base version have much better tips than the M240? And hold up a minute, this thing weighs 300lb more than my RWD, 6MT F30 340i M-Sport? WTF on that one!

Why must the 2 series get such ugly tails. We live in a time where nice asses rule, yet the 1 and 2 have always received chunky secretary asses.

The proportions on this car are just off..
I'm trying to get used to the new styling cues, but every angle has at least 1 weird thing going on.. Last edited by zapp; 11-08-2021 at 05:36 PM.. |

The F22 M240i and F87 were kick ass and looked very good. IMO, the new gen doesn't hit the mark to be an apt successor at least from an exterior design perspective. Something just seems off from all angles. Haven't seen them in person yet, hopefully they impress more!

seems pretty quick. I was a little hesitant on the rear, I liked it but as time goes on im starting to like it more. I can see these looking pretty good rolling around town in real life situations .

A little on heavy side but this should be much more stable and planted at high speeds compared to older one with weight and longer wheelbase. The old bounciness should be gone with this new one
