ok i cant sleep i keep thinking about my car!!! omg i hope they didint update it with 29.2 other wise im gunna kill osme one!!..im gunan tell them to shove it up there asas!..

my car is in for a engine malfuction and new rear brakes so omf the guy didint ask me or tell me anything about it but yea im freaking out i cANT sleep omg omg hahaha fckin aayyy~!!!!

when u speak to the SA , u want to be notify what gets install on ur car before hand

I'm sure they installed 29.2.

Before you pick up your car, just give them a call to verify. And if they said they installed the 29.2, tell them that you don't want it. And that you've read that there are a lot of problems with 29.2 and would like it to be changed back to 29.1 or whatever the previous version was.

I remember reading that a member got his dealership to change it back to the previous one because he was having issues with 29.2.

Why go to the dealer to change the tires? You're going to get raped on the price. Order from tire rack and have a local shop install them.

The only reason I can think of is if he purchased the wheel/tire insurance through the dealer, just like I did.

If he didn't, then he's out of his mind or really rich. But if he was really rich, he wouldn't be driving a e90.

well i just found out u cant go back to the old update! ONCE U GO TO THE NEW 1!...WELL I CALLED HIM 1ST THING IN THE MORNING AND HE SAID HE DIDINT UPDATED IT AND NOT TO WRY!...I HOPE HES NOT BSING ME WELL WE WILL SEE LATER TODAY WHEN I PICK IT UP!...

Yes, you can! There were a few members that had their Progman updated with the older version. Search in the N54 section.

not sure if u can go back to a update, from what i heard you cannot, FWIW, if you have idrive, the radio stations, or the navigation destitantions will be delted.

hopefully if ur cool with ur SA, if u asked him not to update he won't. I have heard of others being able to go back to an older progman cause if issues with the 29.2....Keep us updated as to what happens

well the thing is that my reg SA wasent there so i got someother guy thats day so thasts y im a lil freaked but.. from what i was talking baout to all the guys last night they all use this SA and hes mad chill so yea lol..

ok so i got my car back and it was the vacum line for the turbo..it was lose or soem shit and they relpaced it idk wtf but he said i might get the malfunction agien from my accudent some shit was fucked up he thinks and that they wont cover it if anything else is fucked up and it would have to go trough my insurence like part of my 1st snow accident!..wow
