When was M sport first available?

What year was M sport first available for the E91? Specifically for the LCI model, was it available during the first model year 09?

Thanks!

As far as my knowledge goes, the M-Sport appearance package was available for the E91 starting in the first 05/06 model year. Although the M-Sport front bumper (among other things) did change in the later LCI models

They definitely had it pre LCI but what I'm wondering is if it was available in the US on the LCI for its first model year. The reason I'm confused is I was looking at the 2009 and 2010 e91 ordering guide and M sport isn't listed as an option for 2009 (first LCI model year)

For North America E90/E91 M-sport package (not to be confused with the normal sport package that includes "M-sport suspension") was introduced in 03/2009 production month an onwards.

Europe and other areas had M-sport from the 2006 model year(not sure production month) and on

Interesting thanks! So that makes sense why sport package and no M sport was available for the early 09 model year e91
