Good to see some people appreciate other cars.

I'm a car enthusiast i love all cars but i see there's some sour people hating on a car that's "cheaply made" yet draws so much attention and interest lol. I love it!

GM rocked the world with the stingray and they did it again last week with the z06 reveal. Now EVERYONE wants their hands on a z06.

whats going on with that poll ?

its like 96% votes for the GT4 and Emira and 4% for the z06? im guessing its a predominantly european site that still think vettes use weird smelling glue, fiberglass fenders, and leaf springs.

I am almost certain a lot of the votes went to those 2 cars because of the manual option.

There is no manual option for the C8 z06.

Young man, I doubt you were even born when the original 'Sting Ray' was produced, lucky bugger, good for you ! I was 10 years old !!

lol i wasn't.

I was late to the corvette party 20 years ago, but that was also around the time i had just gotten my license. So maybe just in time?

Corvettes have always been the best value for performance. Stunning looks, incredible supercar performance, very low price point.

I am very impressed at how GM evolved the corvette this far. It's like watching your kid graduate college

I can't wait to get my C8Z!!!

Placed my 2 grand deposit online with Ciocca Corvette today shortly after the 12 noon open. Hoping to drive off with a MY2024 sometime in 2023.

IMO they took the front engine layout about as far as they could. As a long time Corvette owner I'm more than pleased with its evolutional progression. I can think of no other brand that could have pulled this off and maintained such competitive performance to price ratio.........

Please don't mistake the corvette DNA to being front engine or necessarily a bad thing. I was purely meaning the overall design of everything, down to the intake manifold, looks very F360/430 ish, although highly functional.

I thought this vid was pretty good at detailing some of the more interesting aspects of the new C8 Z06 LT6 engine. It's a short watch but informative.
