Who cares? It is an "ultimate driving machine" not an economy meister!
I used to regularly see 4mpg on my Jaguar XJR trip computer so anything above that on my 35i with similar bhp is a bonus! |

Mines been mapped and the dpf has been gutted. I didn’t have either done so I don’t know the full details.

335i e91 6MT here, best ive had is 435 and can regularly get over 400 as long I don't do much town driving. If I have to drop mini me off at school on my way into work every day it'll be just under 400. Lowest was about 250 with a couple of spirited drives and the rest in town. Stop start driving kills economy on a 335i but they are surprisingly efficient when you can keep moving.

Decided to try give this a go. Managed 384 miles, nearly all motorway driving but stop/start traffic on both ends. Still had an indicated 50miles-ish remaining so not enough for another daily commute to really run the tank down.
Think I've only once managed to just get past 400miles years ago during summer when you tend to get more, but practically rolled into the petrol station that time lol. One rather bored driver as a result though so back to more normal mpg figures now |
