As for boost spiking, running any higher boost will result in higher boost spikes since steady state boost level and spike amplitude is directly related. The important thing is keeping the duration of the spike small (under 0.25s). This is true regardless of what tune you run. And if you are running a tune that bypasses a solenoid, expect to see even larger boost spikes coupled with some oscillation. With v3, added features will controlled not only boost level but the rate of boost rise. We also implemented logic that predicted boost spike behavior and took preventive measures against it. This wasn't in response to a "problem" with v2. It was just a sin of omission. One I believe that every engine tuning option had. We were just the only ones to provide datalogging software so it could be seen/recorded. I suspect there is a reason that no one else provides datalogging software for their tunes. Shiv |

Anyone else notice how close all the tunes on the list seem? Well at least TQ values.
I am really wondering if +/-25hp variation makes any marked difference in real life on road true performance when the TQ values seem so close to each other. At usual highway speeds up to maybe 120mph, any big difference between the various tunes?
