hi is there any good diagnostics that i can recalibrate the steering angle sensor that won't cost an arm and a leg please

I thought to recalibrate it you turned full lock to lock 3 times?

I may be wrong on that, have a Google.

that's how you initialise it it needs to be put on a computer to calibrate it

You can do it with Dis/Ista plenty of free downloads if you have a laptop, cables are cheap enough on ebay.
