DSC coding
Hi, completely new to coding. I'm working on a 2007 335xi E90 auto - just completed the heated steering retrofit, which involves swapping the clock spring for one with the pass-through for the heater wiring. After reassembling, everything works except I'm getting the trifecta lights. Tried resetting the SAS with Bimmergeeks ProTool, no help. I have the following codes:
6DC7 DSC: Steering-angle sensor: Code DSC 51B0 EGS: signal from DSC implausible: brake light switch I'm told I need to recode the DSC with NCS Expert and recalibrate the SAS with INPA. The second part is pretty straightforward, but I've never used NCS Expert, and I'm running into trouble at step 1. When I try to select the chassis, the list only goes up through E89. No E90. Do I need to get a newer version of NCS Expert, or get some newer files for it, or what? Thanks guys. |
