That is because everyone on this board has said the following two things:
1. The Dinan is known to produce less boost than the other modifications, thus less power with warranty.
2. The lower than expected absolute dyno number cannot be reagrded as a single true HP/TQ measurement. The fact that the other modified cars had 15-20 HP more is dead-on.

You should take the cars (yours and your friends) cars to two other dynos and see how much variance there is between dynos.

No kidding. Everyone likes bragging about how much power they make.

Honestly, without a baseline, dynos are flat out worthless.

Even then, it's trap speed you brag about ;-) A dyno is nothing more than a tool for tuning, and assessing the effectiveness of tuning. I could see doing a before/after dyno, but otherwise, I don't see the point.

This thread is one of the biggest joke ever...... No tuner is going to refund you the money because your car doesn't make the advertised power. Get over it and move on with your life! Enjoy your car, man~ Regardless, it's still putting out respectable power

With all the rhetoric you posted all over this thread, I would tell you to pound sand too. I can only imagine how you were with Dinan. You obviously came on the boards and tried to stir some support in your favor but did the opposite instead. All you've done is proven to us how ignorant you really are and that you don't know jack about dyno testing.

Your software works fine, leave it at that and move on.

Oh right....you probably just saved up all the bday money you got over the years.....but that is your money that you earned right?

or

If you are 20 and A) either didn't go to college B) graduate early bc you are a genius which is questionable after this thread, and got a job that has allowed you to save enough/make enough to get a loan and pay for rent, insurance and living costs, then I say congratulations you are on a way faster track to success then I am at 26.

In none of the above is true and....

try getting another dyno and see if that makes you happy or just drive you car and enjoy it. if you wanted a super fast car you should of bought something else.

If it hasn't been said why didn't you wait to hear back from Dinan prior to posting this?

I got bored and went to the last page. Sorry

Wow, you are 20 years old. That is much better than I thought. This only proves my point more. This guy has zero experience with cars to make any accusations. Good God, get a clue man!

I hope I don't sound like a forum cop but this thread has clearly run its course and is now devolving into personal attacks.

Mods, time to shut er' down.

If you really want dinan guys to do something about your tune/money, bring your car to steve himself and ask him to dyno at his place to see if it really read lower than what it should be, though you have a lot of expenses to cover... that if steve even allows...
