logic 7 aftermarket deck upgrade
I was wondering I have a 2007 328i with logic 7. I don't have idrive.
I was wondering since the deck uses fiber optics can I buy a aftermarket deck with fiber optics and just plug it in? I have the wheel controls also is there a deck out there that can use the pac controls so I can use the steering wheel and the factory amp???? clarion has drx9255 fiber optics but no pac controls anyone know of a differnt company that makes both pac/fiber optic please pm let me know what you have used |

Porsche, Audi, and Mercedes also use it, and there are a few third-party accessories appearing that support MOST interfacing (notably the Denison Gateway 500). I doubt you'll ever see it in an aftermarket HU, though, because it would vastly limit the number of accessories you could use with it. |

that is true, just channel allocating within MOST is individual, that means how to use MOST is dependent on user, therefore, BMW, MB, VW usw. are different all but the name MOST.

I've never seen anyone w/ a working PAC setup in an e90 w/ logic7. I've decided that headunit replacement is not worth losing steering wheel controls, esp the phone. The OE headunit is far too integral to certain functions to make removal worth while. I'd really like to have a full featured head unit w/ dvd, dvd-audio playback but 99% i listen to CD's or a HD music player. I decided to add my own amps and speakers and wait for a real working solution to emerge for retention of steering wheel controls etc.

I plan on keep the stock amp to power the speaker and the other 2 amps to run the seat subs and the 12" sub in the rear.
I have not replaced the stock speakers just have to save for a couple of sets of focals what line level adapter are people using??? |
