Fuel injector
When taking fuel injector out.. should they be wet or dry…. I did work on car and had take them all out.. after finishing work on car. One the injector was blowing white smoke from side where go into hole.. so taken out injector and was all dry and the bottom end was black .. is this normal and just need new seal as already replace all 4 with new seal:. Need help thanks

On the assumption this is a piezo injector, then yes, injectors should be dry not wet. And white smoke is not normal. But black on the tip is normal as the end of the injector sits within the combustion chamber.

As smoke coming out from injector hole.. think could be copper seal on injector that leaking or maybe seal that's around rocker cover on inside .. I did take rocker cover off and put new seal and ring on them ..
