Is my HPFP failing?

Hey everyone, I'll keep this short and sweet. I am having a whining noise when I apply throttle and starting at ~1100 RPM. I suspect it's the HPFP failing since I am having long cranks as well and low pressure codes.
The only thing throwing me of is that I get good Rail pressure (>2500 psi) under load so I am wondering if its really the HPFP or if its another component. Would injectors do such a whining noise? I never heard of such occurence but if someone knows just let me know.

Highly recommend buying from FCP and using the lifetime warranty to replace whenever you want in future. The pricing is so ridiculously price gouged unfortunately. |

Look into the fuel pressure regulator as well. That has been the cause for long cranks for some people.

I am still very confused by the whining noise. It doesn't seem to ramp up with RPM and I checked the PCV valve for any vacuum and it seems it's good.

Could it be a crankshaft seal? It seems maybe to be more of a pressure leak noise due to the fact it doesn't change with RPM.

That's the next thing I'm trying. Had to turn off the car to go to my meeting and it only does the noise once engine gets hot so I was thinking it might be related.

Once I open the oil cap nothing changes. There is no sound when opening the oil cap and leaving it idle. When applying throttle again at 1100 RPM the sound is exactly the same. Not quite sure if its a tiny bit louder but essentially nothing changes.

Still at lost with what the hell is happening here, might just be PCV that's not broken enough yet.
About that pressure regulator at the back of the car, once the weather gets better I might try to check it. I've been having a code for over a year about my DMTL system having a line disconnection even though I double-checked to make sure every line was well connected and even changed the DMTL motor. I guess I will ask because I have nothing to lose but do you think it could have a link with whatever is going on with the pressure regulator or my fueling system? I super highly doubt it since its evap related so shouldn't even have to do with any of it.
