First detail few questions about polishes
I started detailing my car for the first time today and under estimated the swirls and scratches IP is just not strong enough what other stronger products can I try. SIP, SSr2.5, SSR3. BTW I'm using a PC with orange pad.
Thanks. |

bump it up to SIP w/ orange, use a smaller 4 inch pad if possible. work 12x12 and then 8x8 sections if you have to and repeat the section if you need more correction. you shouldn't have to go more then SIP w/ orange, it worked for me on a 2001 330 w/ bad swirling.
do you have another polish less aggressive then IP? i'm asking b/c you should follow SIP w/ something less aggressive then IP, usually 106FF w/ white (what i used) or 106FF w/ black finishing pad. you could replace 106FF w/ FPII. |

I recommend SIP with an Orange Pad. Like said above if it doesnt take out all the swirls in the first pass go over it again.
Follow up SIP with PO106FF w/ a white pad. That will yield an excellent result. Also what speed setting are you using on the PC?
