E92 330i injectors refurbished parts reliability

Recently searching for the injectors for my car, I saw some refurbished or used parts on eBay offered a reasonable price, but I don't know whether it works well or not. Did anyone purchase refurbished injectors before?

Lots of thanks

parts number: 13537589048-11 or 13538616079-12

All the advice I've read is that it isn't possible to successfully refurbish piezo injectors. If you can afford to buy new (and I know they're expensive) I'd avoid refurbs. I guess injectors that were fully functional when the donor car was, say, in a crash, might be a possibility...

I bought refurbished injectors off of ebay from these guys:

https://www.ebay.co.uk/str/bavarianw...linjectorstore

I was chasing a rough idle on my E92 330i and didn't want to fork out £800 from BMW and that not be the problem. So ended up paying £120 for the full set which I thought was pretty decent.

I managed to confirm flow rates of the old injectors vs new, and the new injectors definitely flowed better.

I can't speak of reliability as I sold the car 6 months later, but they certainly worked in that time.

I’d stay away from 2nd hand injectors.

If they’re index 11 and REALLY cheap then it might be worth taking a punt.

Main dealers often sell them through their eBay stores for a slightly more reasonable price, with 2 year warranty.

Index 12 is for the 335i. Make sure you get the right ones!

N53 injectors are on long term back order. But I think it's now accepted that 335i injectors also work in the N53:
