Remanufactured HPFP and Multiple Part Numbers

I recently was shopping on FCP and decided to pick up an HPFP reman from Rein. Normally I would go OEM, but I thought with the FCP warranty what could go wrong. Reviewed the part and it looks less than fantastic. It is dirty, and shows excess sealant around one of the parts.

Has anyone installed one of these before? I'm scared it won't last long so I'm probably going to get a new pump but still curious if anyone has installed one.

My existing pump was done under recall at 15k miles and it shows no sign of issues now at 100k. The car was extremely well serviced for its like but it is still at 85k on the pump. Also, the part number had a sticker on it that showed one part number, but I removed the sticker and it shows a different part number? What is that about?

Probably be okay under normal conditions but If you're pushing the car.. tuned and using ethanol.. not a risk I would take but if you're not I would definitely be okay with it.

How's the Rein remanufactured HPFP doing?

I didn’t end up installing it. Talked with FCP and they are taking it back. I think I will go oem when the time comes.
