I-phone questions with ipod and usb adapter

I have a 08 335i arriving in the next 2 weeks and had a question regarding the I-phone. The car will come with the 6FL option. How does the I-phone connect to the car? Do you use both the ipod and usb port with the I-phone? Will it charge the phone? Does the car come with the appropriate cable connection or do I need to order from BMW or Apple? Can I have the phone and a usb flash drive connected at the same time? I have seen a I-phone "cradle" for the center console that uses the antenna on the roof for better phone reception, will that work wit hthe 6FL option? any help would be appreciated!

you can connect your iPhone via bluetooth and dock cable simultaneously. the bluetooth connection handles all phone functions, just like any other bluetooth-equipped phone. the dock cable handles all iPod functions, just like any other iPod.

your car should come with the appropriate cable, and it will charge the iPhone.

since you actually sync the phone via bluetooth (and not dock cable), you can just sync the phone and connect whatever other player you want.
