ABS Light possible sensor or wheel bearing
I have a 2007 335i.
I was driving today when the brake light lit up red, traction control light turned on, and the ABS light came up. After a couple minutes it flicked off again. I parked my car and came back to it and this drive it remained on the whole time but i didn't notice any actual mechanical issues. I scanned it and i'm getting error codes 5DC2, 6139, CE96, and CE9C. I'm guessing it's a wheel position sensor but another forum mentioned it could be related to the wheel bearing. Anything helps, thank you! |

I would lean towards the sensor, I remember my scanner telling me which one went out. I ordered the part, installed it and the code disappeared, I am not familiar with those listed. Are you using a BMW specific or generic code reader?

I can't remember the exact wording of the codes but most of them directly mentioned the sensor or not being able to detect wheel speed. I've ordered the sensor off FCP and I'll post the results once the part comes in. |
