Hi all,
Just had some used 335i front calipers installed on my 128i and although the car brakes fine for gentle stops, it's consistently pulling left when braking hard. My left front wheel has noticeably more dust on it as well than the right front wheel. The rotors and pads up front are brand new and I also had a full brake fluid flush. Everything feels fine in terms of the pedal. I've never had this pulling when braking no matter what the occasion and track my car often, so I decided to check out my caliper guide pins on the front calipers, they're clean but don't feel lubricated and I noticed this one had a ridge in it that you can feel. Does it seem normal? I've changed the brakes on this car before and the guide pins always looked and felt smooth. Appreciate any input. -Chris |
