Trying to pick tire setup for my 640M wheels. LCI 335d (e90) w/mpsort suspension.

I currently run 235/45/17 & 255/40/17 on different wheels but want to try wider tires in the front.

640M specs
18x8.5 ET27
18x9 ET29

255/35/18 square
-wheel width is pretty dang close, but might be stretched ever so slightly different
-can rotate tires but will need to re-mount (don't put on many miles so not a big deal)
-good handling

255/35/18 front
265/35/18 rear
-somewhat 'maximizing' tire width to wheel width
-might not be worth the trouble? 265 is only slightly wider & taller
-can't rotate

245/40/18 front
265/35/18 rear
-more under steer inducing?
-fronts would taller/more side wall, slightly better comfort?
-can't rotate

I run some style 640's on my E61 but I run square 245s (x-drive). the wheels however are staggered so rotating front to back would be pretty dumb.

They come factory with 235/255 snows on them so that or a 245/265 combo would be what I would go with
