Let's sum it up. Yes the RS6 is more expensive, but:
- Faster around the track wet and dry. - Faster in straightline. - More economical. - Better gearbox.

Cheap dig at an amazing car which just happens to be from a competitor. I too would love to know the potential of this engine, my gut tells me it should be greater than the M5 with turbos as this engine was always designed to run with turbos and has a block designed for the job.

Footie notice how it hit 60 in 4.4 secs. Another magazine test has it at 4.3secs!!! It just seems to go against physics. Oh yeah and notice in the below scans that it also was 5.8 secs quicker than the M5 Touring around the track!!!

I wouldnt be so happy if Audi was creating something that is just keeping the horsepower race going, but they arent. They made something faster in all respects yet more economical than it's rivals. That's an achievement. The only thing I can fault it at is weighing 2 tonnes.
Even then, it goes against physics and does amazing. I love this quote: "Most cars will do 80mph or so on the straight, rarely in the 90s. The RS6 hits just over 100mph".

Great gas mileage! 14 for an M5 that is slower by far... I can't personally believe that the Cayenne Turbo gets 19 combined by I do like that car...

Oh, yeah, doesn't the gallardo get very poor economy? Why would the RS6 do so well when it's even heavier with two extra turbos? Oh, and 19.5 for the E63???

This is why we are only getting the sedan RS6 in America, because of narrow-minded American views. Side note: chuck92103 my girlfriend called the X6 a lifted station wagon the other day, when we saw one at a dealer. "Pot calling the kettle black" |

Haven't seen the new one in person but the last one looked good, but for me the R8 have an elegance that isn't present with the Gallardo. Lamborghini styling is out there to shock and for that it works very well.
