+1 for performance dynamic. also, if you are having turbos installed at this shop and need to get it tuned on a dyno, TPS motorsports around the corner has a heck of a deal for dyno pulls.

I can’t say enough good things about my local South Bay Indy shop. After recommendation from friends, and having them do a couple of pre purchase inspections, I bought my first bmw just so I could have them as my mechanics. Used them for over 15 years for everything on my e46. They only work on BMW, Mercedes, and Mini with a faithful following. I bought my second bmw, the e93, again, specifically so I could keep them.

In reply to those looking for a shop in the Sacramento area, I just used tri-star in Roseville for a prepurchase inspection on the e93 and they made a great impression. We got to talking cars and I just got a great feel. If/when I relocate there I’d definitely make them my go to Indy shop. They went above and beyond.

Does anybody know what happened to B line body shop in San Jose? It’s listed on the first page of the sticky, it has a new name, but I don’t know if it has the new people or standard people that used to offer such high care now — any experience? Anybody heard anything regarding what’s going on there?

I am new here. Just moved to East Bay and have a 2010 335D. Can I have some recommendations for honest and affordable garages for routine service and any future repairs ? I am told that I should "get rid of it" because it is a 2010 model and would become expensive to maintain it. Fortunately I have not had any major repairs but I need to take it for service and "smog" test.
