UV protection for door trim?

I noticed the tops of the door trim in my E90 look kind of dull. Are there any good products to give them some UV protection and maybe make them look fresher too?

If its the black metal trim, you can machine polish it and wax them.

That's the one I bought after a bit of googling. I like it. Wasn't great on the outside rubber/plastics. Any suggestions for getting the wing mirror plastics black again?
