well just checking to see if there is interest from any mechanics out there. this car broke within 2 weeks of all mods and tune. spun #1 rod bearing, looks like it had an issue before the tune n mods but im not an expert on bearing wear. So i have 2 options. #1 $12,000 for a 58,000 mile motor or see if there is interest as is. it has a JB4, VRSF intercooler, VRSF Charge pipe, Burger cold air intake, new alternator, new water pump and thermostat, valve cover gasket/PCV valve. will have new bearing but #1 crank journal is scared. everyone is telling me to trade it in but i cant do that to someone. if intrested i have photos of all bearing wear.

Depending on asking price I think you could find some people who are interested. You'll definitely get more attention if you include some images.

Mad props to you for not wanting to pass on something like that to someone without them knowing. Hard to find people with integrity these days.

N55's have quite a few random rod bearing failures so I wouldn't beat yourself up about it, thinking there was a preexisting condition that you made worse. Unfortunately they just do this sometimes.

If you have any pics and a price in mind, I'm sure someone will take you up on it. Heck, maybe even me, I've been toying with the idea of doing an LS swap in an e90 lol.
