Is it possible to turn off the monitor completely?
Hello all -
I've been trying to search for an answer to this question on this forum and have come up with nothing. Maybe someone can help me by pointing me to a previous post that answers this question. Is there a way to turn the monitor (idrive display) off completely? It seems as though even when you select "Display off" from the idrive menu, the backlight is still on and the display is pretty much constantly displaying black. It seems as though this may shorten the life of the display and become an annoyance when you want to drive at night and keep the ambient light to a minimum. Any thoughts? |

Most likely your car will be scrap before this ever happens.
