e91 Airbag light error 93eb - short ouput tcu??

Hi everyone,
Got the airbag light on intermittently for the last couple of months.
It started after the car leaked water into the passenger footwell during heavy rain.
The only fault code it shows is 93eb short output to tcu.
Ive updated to the latest software but its still the same.

Has anyone else had this issue and sorted it?
Could i program a used ecu if needed?
Thanks

Yeah I did. Was the squib behind the steering wheel.

I know the is old, but, when you say you replaced the squib, dod you replace the stalks and all or just the clock spring?

I am having the same issue and have replaced:
Clock spring,
Mrs module,
BST cable,
New battery,
Pass seat sensor,
Seat belt sensor.

I'm still getting a airbag light and code 93EB. It will come on and stay for a day or two... Then dissappear for a few days

Update:
Just in case anyone ever has this issue... I "fixed" it. I was able to put in a fiber loop at the TCU and remove the TCU completely and this, so far no more light.

***FIXED *** Found a small 10 pin connecter under sound matting, directly under hood release latch. Badly corroded, cleaned, no more airbag light, no more fault code!..

Could you please explain more about this fiber loop? I'm and having this issue. Car does not have tcu. Was thinking of pull tcu wire out of mrs module connector, but can't find diagram of what wire it would be. Thank you!
