N54 Shaking, limp mode, misfiring
Already posted about this but the consensus seemed to be spark plugs or coils which I have since replaced and the issues are still occurring.
A few days a ago I gave a small pull up a hill and then the car started to shake like crazy and went into limp mode. Still very shaky and stalls in reverse sometimes. I've replaced plugs, coils, and the charge pipe but still having all the issues. I've attached the codes it's running below. Thanks for the help. [IMG][/IMG] |

It looks like mosfet failure but before you do that, move injectors from one cylinder (1-4) to 5 or 6 and see if misfire follows (you'll need to replace injector seals) , if it doesn't then you need to get your DME checked

Yeah it got rid of low boost code but still have the misfires as you said it would. I pulled out the spark plug for cylinder 2 because that's the only remaining code and it is definitely wet at the bottom. Does that mean I have the replace the 2nd injector?

Replacing the leaking cylinder 2 injector should hopefully resolve the misfire problem. You should replace the seal and code the injector. The other 2 common causes of misfires are plugs and coils. |
