N54 aluminum intake + PI for daily ?

Hey all ,

Been forum searching for a while and have found the pros and cons of having a aluminum intake or just got with a spacer plate. I really haven't found anything on daily ability with these aluminum intakes , was wondering if anyone who has experience or anything could chime in? I'm specifically looking at the bmp or bms phoenix racing intake manifold . The only real issue I'm worried about with them is heat soak on daily driving, so if anyone has any input that would be great. Thanks in advanced !

For what it's worth cars have had aluminum intakes for years. Plus a lot of us have aluminum chargepipes. I can't speak to the PI

If youre really worried about heat soak, eospeed makes a 3/8" thick phenolic spacer that goes between the head & manifold. They claim 15-20*f lower IAT with it. I have a phoenix racing manifold with PI and will probably eventually get the spacer

I just recently got the phoenix intake manifold and port injection (along with the reflex plus) installed a couple of weeks ago and I have not noticed any noticeable heatsoak issues driving around in this hot ass Florida weather.

I 2nd this. Manifold does get pretty warm but dont think its anything to worry about/steer you away from it

That's good to hear , I think I may just go with it for the cleaner look plus I like having the injectors on top rather than below just in case of leaks or anything like that . Thanks everyone for helping !
