Tyre Pressures and weight transfer

I've switched to Eagle F1 Asymmetric 5s on my E93 320d and am experimenting with tyre pressures. I don't mind a firm ride if it gives better steering feel so I have just tried 37psi front 42 rear.

Steering feels over assisted at lower speeds which I don't like.

Also, at motor way speeds ~70mph with small turns away from dead centre I can feel the weight transfer from one side of the car to the other in a way that feels unnatural/sudden. I know there is always weight transfer when switching from left to right but did not expect too feel it switch suddenly. Do lower pressures reduce or mask the feel of weight transfer (side to side)?

Also, do you think it is important to do the same to front pressures and rear pressures. ie if you go door plate + 3 psi should you do that all round?

I've read a number of tyre pressure threads but discussion does't get into the specifics of handling.

Thanks for comments.

Don't know about handling dynamics but I run 31/34 based on tyre wear. I was getting mid tyre wear at higher pressures. This pressure seems to be giving me an even wear so far.

Garage List
I've found 2.4 bar front & 2.6 bar in the rears works best for my e92 on 19"s.

Seems a tad high. What diameter and profile are your tyres and are you regularly carrying bags of cement around with you?

37/42 psi seems a little high! Higher pressures will increase sidewall stiffness.
Just because you increase the front by 3psi doesn't been you need increase the rear by the same amount.
I'd start my running the same pressures Front/Rear.
