do you guys wax them or should I cover it up w tape...will the wax damage the window trim? scared

I would just wax it. I use Klasse AIO and SG (rather than wax), and I use both products on the window trim. All either wax or a polymer will do is add a layer of protection.

hmm good to hear... I was afraid there would be some chemical or acid that would damage the trim..

I wax it, I wax any painted or aluminum surface on the car, just make sure you don't get it on any plastic/rubber parts, always safe to use a little painter's tape if you're worried about it, but I usually don't bother and just watch closely where I apply it.

damn it,,, there are rubbers by the trims... how bad is it for the plastic/rubber?

depending on what type of wax you use it could just discolor the black rubber a little. If you're worried about it I would either use the painters tape or be real careful, or just skip the trim all over. I find mine doesn't look any different after I wax it anyways to be honest.
