It's obviously a steel rotor. Carbon ceramic wouldn't have the machining marks, not to mention it doesn't look anything like a carbon ceramic rotor. F90 M5 and later all have sliding rear calipers, and they work fine because the rear isn't that critical.

Are you MFers blind or what? It's a steel rotor. Even if you didn't know what steel looks like, the caliper is red, not gold. Mercedes has moved to this rear setup also on many cars. It's clearly sufficient as the lap times show, and the M4 CSL still has the same single piston rear setup. I'll trust the engineers at Brembo.

It's weird that your name is G80M4 and you're criticizing a car for having an exhaust that hangs down just like the other G8x cars. Not to mention that no one ever looks at a car at that angle, nearly on the ground. If you take pics of a G80 or G82 it's not gonna look that much better.

People, can we please get back on track and further discuss the fact that the M3 touring has a massive ass abnormality?

Exactly, the M3 Touring muffler sticks out if you sit down and your eye is level with the fender. Big deal.

Agree. That's the only design flaw that I hate about M3/M4s.

BMW design team needs to get rid of that hemorrhoid

N.A. Is not receiving it so it honestly doesn't matter. If I could afford one I would have bought one. I prefer a car/wagon over a lifted SUV, AMC was light years ahead of everyone when they sold the Concord wagon lifted up on a 4wd clunky drivetrain.

It's not the only car that has this design... "feature".

BMW aesthetics these days are very boy-racer to my eye. Not classic. Seeking, yet not finding.

The exterior of the G series is a complete and utter design failure. Im sure sales have suffered as a result. Resale will probably take a massive dive too.

Think of it as DoT's 5 mph bumpers. Man they were horrendous too.
