i searched and i read but to be quite honest i'm very confused now. i know very little about electronics and all the usb 6fl stuff. i read that if you don't have the usb installed in your car when you order/purchase it, there is no way to use a flash drive to play music on your car. is this correct?

i read somewhere that someone got a quote for a retrofit kit for US sound systems (it was quoted on a car with nav). i also know that most ppl have said that the retrofit kit doesn't work on US cars so i'm confused.

my car is a 328xi coupe with premium, nav, and logic 7.
