And to everyone else: how likely is it to experience failure or problems with procede? Also is the price drastically different that Dinan? And finally, is there a way to remove the procede product before going to the dealer? This last question may be dumb I'm sure since I dont know how or where it's installed. Thanks!

The ultimate racing full exhaust (including dps) is not an option with Dinan. That will void your Dinan warranty.

Procede V3 is fully plug and play, as is SSTT. Either could be removed before a trip to the dealer, providing you have some degree of mechanical inclination. The other piggy backs can also be removed, but require pin extraction. If you're not a somewhat technical person, it would be best to have someone else do it for you.

As for problems, no one knows. The only real problems we've seen (mech failures) are the result of the turbo eating a foreign object after an intake install.

Thanks once again! I'm not really mechanically inclined, but on the other hand I do pick up quickly. Also, I have a friend who is a mechanic who does his own work on his '97 M3, so I have help there.

One other thing, I haven't heard of SSTT until you mentioned it. Is that another chip like Procede?

you said you've 'been doing a lot of reading in this forum' but you must have missed the Stickies at the top of the "Turbo / FI Engine and 335i Tuning / Drivetrain / Exhaust Modifications" forum. Go back and read those and it will answer a lot of your questions and you will be a much more knowledgeable consumer.

Thanks skim... I'll do that again! I've just been doing so much reading I start forgetting what is what and hard to keep track of everything!
