Will the appearance be noticeable going from a 17" to an 18" wheel?

The 335xi coupe will not take a 19" wheel (without other modifications). I want to minimize the gap so I was wondering what an 18" wheel would like on am '08 335xi coupe. I would really like to put the M wheels on but it does not look like they will fit. My current OEM 17" will be good for winter around here but I want something more aggressive for summer.

I just did mine from 17's to 18's...the gap is closed a bit but I got staggered rims and they look great! The ride actually improved...I'll post pics later today or tomorrow...it's worth it, go to 18's...there is still a noticable gap in the front but you're in an xi, deal with it.

Thanks. I am totally willing to deal with the gap. xi is important where I live,

What are some good manufacturers of after market wheels to consider and are there any to avoid? I see steep price differences and was wondering what the real differences are.

There are many good manufacturers out there. Velocity Motoring is a popular option for after market wheels as are Miro and Exclusive Alloy. All the wheels we carry are quality after market wheels so if you need anything, feel free to contact us.

I have 19s (style 269). I think it depends on what 19" wheels you get. Not all will need modification.
