PSI------Volt -14.7----0 -8.9-----0.593 -4.4-----1.056 0--------1.508 20.1-----3.574 32.7-----4.870 MAP based gauges are the most accurate boost gauges. They run about $250and are well worth it. If you have a MAP based gauge, then it is more accurate than a mechanical gauge. A Mechanical gauge does not use a MAP sensor to read boost. A boost reading on a mechanical gauge can be off by 1-2 psi. I had a Defi Mechnical gauge and when I tested it against my bench tested MAP sensor it was off by about 2 psi. I sold it and now I only log boost with MAP sensors on my car and on every car that I tune. It is really irresponsible for any tuner to tune a car simply using a gauge, especially a mechanical one. But can you trust that the V3 is stable. Given past history it might not be. So you get the V3, pay for the upgrade and then problems crop up, that can olny be solved with V4. But guess what, you will have to pay for V4. And the cycle repeats.

Anyone guess ....but if it happens I'll have a field day with the subject. I hope it doesn't.
