CT Tint question

so for those in CT, where did you get your tints done? I was told by Brian at ICS that they use Sunlimited in Bridgeport for everything tint related, but when I dropped by to check it out, I had absolutely no interest of leaving my car in that parking lot, even if it was just for a few hours. The place was a shithole with smashed windows and stuff, AND the guy wouldnt call me back after 3 messeges being left with him. I'm going to school in a few months in VA and I need to get my tints done so, where do you guys recomend? I could also hit up somewhere in Westchester if you NY guys can chime in.. thanks!

Went to the Art of Tint in NYC. Jury's still out on the matrix, though -- it's been a month and I need to go back in so he can try to get as many of those bubbles smoothed out. FYI I did HuperOptik (HO) 45

I used tintmaster in Hartford, they are alright... kind of a problem with the matrix in the rear window but it came out good... where are youf rom

I've heard good things about the Tint Man in Monroe, but I haven't personally used them.

so I stopped by the tint man today.. told me it would be $170 for the whole car. The guy suggested I go 20% all around which I liked on the cars he showed me. Anyone in CT have problems with police for illegal tints? My car is black/black so I'm not sure how dark it's really going to look.. any insight?

i got mine done in New Haven for $99. 35% all around too

East Coast is great, but its a one man show, and more expensive than others, and honestly it seems like you are just driving around looking at tint shops, you have prob wasted like $30 in gas already looking, so dont really worry about trying to save like $10-$20 on tinting. Also on the coupes beware how the windows crack when you open the doors as the tint will need to go like an inch under the door panel. Infinite Tint i think is in New Rochelle and they did mine, i have absolutely ZERO complaints, just call them up, make an appoint and get it done, you will be happy

I have used the Tint Man in Monroe. Very happy with the quality and work. Also went 20 all the way around.
