Not sure what their regulations are, but no one said anything about me not having a cage so I figured I was okay.

Need me a track like that. Nowadays its not that hard to get under 11.5 in a variety of cars/trucks.

i think most US tracks require a roll cage below 11.5 if you have an older car, new supercar rule is awesome though 2014+ 9.0 150mph or slower no need for cage.

my track in vancouver, canada is fine with me running high 10s with no cage, i think below 10.5 they will shut me down

After going back and forth with him for a few days I told him I would show up with a trailer....no questions asked, and give him $3500 for the car. The kids parents already bought him a brand new truck...so he didn't really care how much he got for the 335i.

He accepted the $3500 offer. Turned out that it just needed a new battery, water pump, thermostat, and had a boost leak at one of the intercooler connections.....that's all it needed.
What was the mileage at the time you got it? I'm looking for a C6 supercharged LS3 in place of my Challenger which is nice but not the ride experience of a vette, but considerably more than our similarly powered 335's! Name: dodge louver.jpg

When I picked up my car a couple of years ago it had around 90K miles on it. But keep in mind, I'm also in the midwest. These cars are much cheaper around here for some reason. You can still find really nice ones in good shape for under $8-9K if you look hard enough.

I see all these kids listing their 335i's on the FB groups for $20, $25, $28K......they are delusional. In the end, it's still a 15+ year old, mostly unreliable, BMW......for that kind of money, they are much better options out there.

But if you can get one cheap...they are fun cars that will be big power for cheaper than just about any other platform.

Would you recommend the transmission flash? Is it quite noticeable?

The best thing about the xHP stage 3 trans flash is that it's got a line pressure bump feature that will increase the factory torque holding capacity of the transmission....that right there is well worth it when you are putting big power to that 6HP21 transmission.

The "fun" part about the xHP tune is all the options you can tinker with. Custom upshift/down shift settings, shift speed settings, torque reduction during shift settings, max rpm settings per gear, custom launch mode settings, torque per gear settings, ..the ability to tailor the Drive, Sport, and Manual modes individually to give them different "personalities".

Just the multitude of ways to customize and fine tune how the transmission operates is pretty awesome. It definitely makes the transmission shift faster....and have a better feel.

Come out to mission raceway when we have street legals since you are local and see some N54s in action.

My track was pretty empty last Friday night. I put in 6 runs from 7:30 to 9pm......and I let the car cool down between each run for a while. I literally could have made back to back runs if I wanted to. It's nice when it's like that 👍

We also have live streaming of the whole event which is pretty cool

I had the closest race of my life vs a C7 Z06 on slicks couple weeks back

fast forward to 3:08:15

i also took an L vs another C7 Z06 on slicks with about 10k in upgrades

fast forward to 1:48:08

also took out a challenger on slicks that night, cant remember the time code

That's pretty cool! Do you drive or trailer to the track?

I only see cars with less than 70k or so sell or be posted for more than $15k. Look up what e92 335i's go for on Bring a trailer. Plus the buyer pays shipping! Most are around $22k! Even in 2019 cars with low miles were going for $15k around here. I wouldn't let mine go for less than $17k with 59k on the clock. They are old cars but any of the factory turbo cars from that era bring good money these days. Just cant buy cars like that anymore.

Sorry for the derail ..
