There are a couple of really good turbo refurbers but I can't for life of me remember their names. Hoping someone on here will be able to recommend one they have used.

So bit delayed I know , had a couple of months on it !! All excellent, Midland we're superb , they reconditioned my original turbo for £300 and my mech fitted for £200, so happy with £500 after hearing of lots of expensive not so productive jobs !! |

Glad I found this thread. I was quoted £1200 to have mine rebuilt and installed, as well as the boost pressure sensor and an oil change and filter. My car is eleven years old, so I'm not going to be spending that kind of money. Have been quoted a price which is less than half and that's more sensible imho. Alternatively, I was quoted for a second hand one from an n47. So just weighing up my options. I have access to another car, so in no big rush and I work from home so that works well for me.

I can't remember, and don't know what I've done with the paperwork. I spent around £800 in total (did the work my self with help from a local mobile mechanic) but I did other things at the same time, bought a lot of other bits and pieces to replace. If I had to guess I'd say maybe £350 or 400. But not too sure.
