A few notes in the log for your VIN and you could have trouble if you end up with any boost or core engine related issues...

Just my 0.02.
Ive thought about that as well and I can certainly see an argument being made by BMW to void the warranty just based on the IC. So I might need to pick up an OEM IC one of these days as well. I wish I had the spare parts so I could avoid these issues but the fact of the matter is I dont have them. Albeit Im hoping, just like everyone else here, that I dont have any major service issues and I also understand the concept of "pay to play" so I do know what the risks are. Would I have purchased the car knowing that it had all this stuff before hand? Not sure about that but I can tell you the car is a LOT more fun that the stock model I drove at the dealership

No point in taking everything off of the damage was already done by someone else.
No, I didnt even think of that because I purchased it through a dealer (non BMW) and took there word that the warranty was still intact. I have, however since finding these items, gone to the dealership and inquired about my warranty with one of the service reps. I went with the premise of asking about the High Pressure Fuel Pump to see if it had been changed and while he was looking through the records I asked if anything stood out that would effect my warranty. I guess I got lucky...this time.

Do you have any paper work showing that the vehicle is still under warranty from the dealer that you purchased the car from?

It shouldn't be your job to put the car back to stock if they sold you a car with a warranty.

No, but its irrelevant since it technically IS still under factory warranty. And, if I was the dealer I would easily make the argument that the mods occurred after the car was sold. It would be a losing issue in court and not one that I would even pursuit especially since I didnt have the car inspected at the time of the purchase since it only had 10,000 miles and it (still technically) has a BMW warranty.

Im not too concerned about this but I do like to be aware of my potential issues...hence the need to find out what tuner is under the hood. Which is why I wish Shiv would respond to my PM's and I could make an appointment to see him (considering I think we live right down the street from each other).

LOL

Go knock on Shiv's door and buy v3 from him. He probably even has hoses to route the lines back to stock.

Yeah, I would have liked to have the option to drive down the street and meet with Shiv but then again I've sent him multiple PMs and not one response. I guess he's just too busy these days to answer anything on this forum other than "where's my harness".

Honestly though, I think I might feel better knowing that I dont have a PROceed with all the high boost spikes Ive been reading. Then again, I may even pony up to a V3 one of these days and I just might be knocking on his door.
