Convertible/toddler car seat recommendation for E92?

Our baby just turned 7 months and my wife said we're soon going to need new car seats so she can fit properly.

Does anyone have a particular recommendation for a good seat that fits well in passenger side rear seat of an E92 335is?

Price isn't too much of a concern but obviously the cheaper the better. I think we are looking for one that can go from like 7 months thru 4 years old, and wife mentioned needing one that can do rear facing (for now) then eventually swivel to face forward when she gets a little older.

(I found a couple older threads on here with certain brand recommendations but some of the ones mentioned are no longer sold)

Thanks in advance

Edit in case it isn't clear.. by 'convertible' in the post title, I mean the seat, not the car
Also to add.. for the most part I'll only be using it for short trips between my home, office, and daycare which are all within 15 mins of each other. Longer trips we'll be taking the X5, likely with a different make/model seat, rather than a smaller one that fits better in a coupe

Get whatever looks the most comfortable for your child and has the best functions/use.

Almost any car seat will fit back there.
We have a dedicated car seat for the e93 because its a tight squeeze swapping the car seat out.

The main issue is squeezing back there to buckle/unbuckle them. The long doors on the e92/3 don’t help in tight parking spots either.

I found some seats have ability to rotate (swivel) so wondering if that is an option to make it easier to take them in and out, but don't know it those would work in an E92. One example I found: https://www.amazon.com/Evenflo-Revol.../dp/B08SCPHL1Q

That might be a lot bulkier than regular seats though

Looks like it would work in a 4 door.
With the 2 door, You might be able to swivel it a bit towards the door, if front facing.

I think it’s too big to do a full 180° In the backseat when rear facing.

Dyno Radian RXT.. solid car seat with small foot print .. we had to sell our MB R350 cause we couldn't fit 3 across (2 infants and a toddler). Then we learned about Dyno car seats.. wife was bummed to goto a Honda Pilot..

The seat is able to be used from infant to booster seat.

Rear facing in a coupe? My back hurts just thinking about that. If your baby is heavy enough (usually 20 lbs), you could go straight to front facing, but it is recommended that they stay rear facing as long as possible (usually up to 40lbs) for better safety.

We have the Britax Allegiance since it was one of the safest seats tested by babygearlab:

baby has been in rear-facing seat in the E92 since she was born. I forget what seat we have now but it fits easily in rear, passenger side. And my wife can still ride as front passenger with enough leg room

I doubt the wife could fit comfortably in the front once we get a newer seat. But this seat is really only for the trip to/from daycare. We will be using an SUV with the wife, for longer trips, etc.

thanks this one seems pretty promising. At least it looks the best out of the ones I've looked at

I assume you currently have an infant seat, hence the need to upgrade to a convertible seat? Loading a baby into a rear facing convertible seat is much more of a pain than simply tossing the infant seat in.

If it's just for short trips, then I would just go front facing if baby meets the requirements. In that case, the seat dimensions do not matter as much.

Also, I would only get Diono if you needed to fit 3 across the rear seat. They generally don't do well in crash testing: https://www.babygearlab.com/reviews/...ono-radian-rxt

yeah after talking again with the wife it seems like the only realistic option is the Evenflo Revolve360 since it swivels. There are a couple other swivel seats but they are even more expensive (the revolve360 is $400)
