I’m still skeptical about this, but I’ll keep the thread updated if the code comes back.
Thanks for the updates tej98

Which adaptations were reset?

It's one of the injectors in bank 1, the longer you keep the car running the higher the ltft will get until you reach the max ltft and you will get the code. Try swapping injectors from bank 1 with 2 to make sure. If the ltft don't reach more then 15 just forget about it's not an issue.

Both oxygen sensor adaptations were reset using MHD just after oxygen sensor replacement.

I agree with this. But the car isn’t throwing the code now after close to 2600 miles after replacement of the sensors, so I’m hesitant to start diagnosing again. I’m in the “leave well enough alone” mode for now and just enjoying the car

Just another update to this as I'm seeing more mixture control related posts pop up, but it's been over 5k miles of drastically varying driving styles with no codes returning. I've done dozens of reflashes and many driving cycles after each one as well (for unrelated reasons), so we can rule out tune reflash as the issue. In my case it was most definitely a failing oxygen sensor.
