I'm not sure of the pressure drop but he is seeing 13psi on the boost gauge with that setup I listed above.

![]() We are going to end up with almost duplicate cars I think. Especially if he does my new Formula One exhaust system we are nearly finished with. Jeff Eurobahn |

So far the design fits the 135 only. Mostly since we want to have the exhaust exit the center of the rear valance and not on the side. We will also offer it in a side exit option. Right now we are manufacturing the flanges since it is going to be a true bolt on with no welding.
![]() BMW won't sell you just the flanges! They make you buy the whole bloody exhaust ![]() Jeff Eurobahn Last edited by Jeff@Eurobahn.us; 06-24-2008 at 11:38 AM.. |

resetting without TT
OK had it off my car for a while now and even though I really screamed the car have not been able to recreate the limp mode without it, I then disconnected the battery and reconnected so as to reset the ecu, again no problems, finally I refitted the TT disconnected the battery and ran her again and sadly the same fault comes up i.e. limp mode, it feels to me like the turbo is overboosting so I am not going to risk putting it on again as I am a month away from my first service, I think I have a faulty TT unit but not a lot I can do about it from Abu Dhabi

Hey Jeff, I got a question about a recent bmw service bulletin:
http://www.bmwtis.com/tsb/bulletins/...p/B122008g.htm "With the integration level of E89X-08-03-530 or higher (introduced with Progman V29.02.00), any alteration to the TMAP sensor signal ("piggyback box") is detected by setting the DME fault code 2D18 ("Manipulation protection, air mass signal plausibility"). In such a case, the maximum engine torque cannot exceed 400Nm." Sounds like they are targeting the SSTT. I'm wondering if you've got any comments on this. |

They are correct that if you alter signals in a manner that causes a plausibility mismatch you will get a code. The SSTT doesn't create this problem hence we have never been found on any diagnostic sweep even with the unit still on the car let alone when it has been removed ![]() Jeff Eurobahn |

"An aftermarket engine performance tuning kit, "turbo-tuner control module" (piggyback box), is (or was) installed in the vehicle." I'm about to purchase the TT, with the great special you have going on. But the fact that it names it directly worries me. Can you enlighten me a bit more. Thanks!! |

Also there are hundreds of techs and folks who work around the company who know the name and own SSTT's themselves. "turbo tuner control module" can refer to any device or software that increases boost. They needed a name and ours is generic enough that fits their description. Edit: Notice they are discussing Emissions testing problems and emissions monitors. This is caused when people connect piggy back devices to the O2 sensors in order to increase fueling. Of if people are running catless downpipes and used O2 sims to make the SES light go away. Jeff Eurobahn |

FWIW, v81 and 29.2 with SSTT have shown some awesome gains close to 340WHP and 340WTQ, so that right there just goes to show it is not throwing codes and not limiting power. BTW havent we gone over this numerous times since the last bullentin was released? Split Second and Eurobahn have tested these new programs on there v81135i and there 29.2 335i and some of the first to do so.
