I talked to Nick about the painted reflector and he's going to send me out another one to exchange it. I'm happy that he is taking care of this for me but hopefully it will be color match this time.

We've sold countless painted reflector sets and they rarely come mismatched. But if for whatever reason the paint doesn't match, we would always exchange it for the customer. If it's a defective product we will take care of it from A-Z. We ALWAYS stand behind the products that we carry. I'm not sure why you didn't contact us with the concern before posting on the forums though.

Should have got Longtrans - mine where a perfect match and there are a lot of posts about the Bimmian ones being a poor match, especially on certain colors that are harder to match.

JLevi is always very good about CS on these, which is a good things because in my experience Bimmian stuff must be painted by a troll. Sorry, but I've installed maybe 20 sets of these, 4 door handle key delete things, and a couple other misc pieces from Bimmian, and I've yet to see a single one that matches.

Again, Jlevi sells good stuff, and their cs is excellent, but it's this Bimmian trash that's reflecting poorly on them (no pun intended).

Got mine from Longtran and perfect match also - return those and get some from Long, search for all the Bimmian ones that don't match - lots of complaints

Looks SO good though i love it.... FIRST MOD W00T W00T!!!!!!!!!!! i wish i woulda tried it on a friends car first to see how to go about doing it LOL j/k........................... not really LMAO! All you need is a hair dryer and screw driver, start front the bottom and work your way up when you have at least half of it off you literally can just pop it out with a little force, F the goo gone! as far and doing the reflector goes it makes more of a mess than necessary. Got it on the fender so i just sprayed it with a water bottle, wiped it off and sprayed it with the clay bar spray and wiped it down with an MF towel......

haha, you know any ways to get rid of that dimple?!

Danny,

It looks like these were part of a flawed paint batch. I checked over all of our in stock color code 475 Black Sapphire painted reflectors and they match perfectly. In fact, this is the first case of mismatched reflectors we have had so it seems to be isolated to this one set.

Like Kenny mentioned, we have sold countless painted reflectors with nary an issue but from time to time, issues with improper paint match can arise. It happens with every product unfortunately but the good news is that we will be replacing these for you directly.

I personally inspected the reflectors going out to you today and made sure that they are matching. We also included a pre-paid shipping label to send back the mismatched pair so we can investigate the source of the problem with Bimmian.

Please do not hesitate to contact me or anyone of us directly if you ever have an issue.
