Anyone looking at ordering the new 2009 3 Series Sedan? I would like to but I have not seen any photos directly from BMW. I would really like to build it online and see what it looks like with the different options. When do you think we will see it on the BMW USA website? Thanks!

I'm getting a 2009 Sedan. I'll be putting the money down as soon as I hear ANYTHING about it. Basically I've got the dealership to call me as soon as it's in.

You won't be able to get any type of numbers on them for a few months yet. Probably August you should see something official. They're going through a LCI redesign this year and you can see a bit of it by searching the forums for "facelifted E90" (or something similar).

Hi Andy,

Well I've heard from two dealerships that you can already order them. They also have the pricing for it as well. What I'm most concerend about is being able to configure the options and see what they look like before I order it. I would also like to see offical photos from BMW - I can't buy off "spy shots". Actually, I'm going to call BMW right now and ask - I will let you know.

Just spoke with a BMW repersenative and he told me that we should see the 2009 3 Series Sedan on the BMWUSA site no later than Mid July. I'm excited to see what it will look like!

I still can't beleive they're killing A22 Sparkling Graphite aka the eggplant It's one of the best colors in the E9X pallete. They're also killing my Light Poplar Wood.

I love the Sparkling Graphite but the Light Poplar Wood is unattractive. They need to offer the Gray Poplar Wood or the Bamboo in the 3 series sedan!

I'm partial to my light poplar on black, I think it works well and it has more unique graining. Burl Walnut was too dark and cliched and I didn't want to go with the aluminum (at the time). Curious to see the light burl walnut, I hope its not too cheesy.

But yeah, gray poplar would be a nice addition, same goes for the bamboo.

You can place orders now for the '09,but the pricing won't be out until Aug/Sept.No dealer in the US has pricing.It should be similar with possible small price increases since we just had some.I think the destination will go to 875 since MB is already there.

How does this work? Do you negotiate the pricing after ordering?

Was at my dealer yesterday. They already have allocations that I can reserve with a deposit if I were ready. I want to see it (as well as the pricing) before comitting though. Dealer says they should have some press material mid-late July. Funny he told me to watch the web for more information, stating they are usually the last to know what is coming lol.

The big question I have is how do I negotiate pricing if I am considering Euro delivery? Also want to know if there are discounts/strategies that I can use if I take delivery in Spartanburg SC. I like the sales rep and dealership so far, going out of my way to shop with them since our local dealer is difficult to deal with. Still want to get a good price though.

I plan to order a new 325i M-Sport E90 in October.
But it depends on the first official pictures.. it all depends on the new shape of the taillights and of the new styling of the M-Kit. If i dont like it, i´ll maybe switching to the E92.

I don't mind Space Gray for the color and originally I wanted that. But I'm really thinking more towards the Montego blue now. Too bad there's no Le Mans Blue.

I have just ordered 09 Coupe. The pricing is not avialable, but I made a deal for 1k over ED invoice. I will be picking it up in Munich and take re-delivery in US. This way I can finalize the deal when pricing comes out and meantime have a car on order.

The 09 Coupe probably will come out the same time as Sedan. I already have the order # and delivery scheduled for Oct 16th in Munich.

I'll probably be ordering a sedan soon, but like everyone else, I would love to see official photo's before pulling the trigger... I wonder if any dealers will be willing to do $1000 over invoice on a LCI car, due to slow economy?

If I like the way it looks and drives (which I probably will) then I'll probably pick up one, when my lease is up in April '09. Honestly, its everything I'd want my car to be and I'm hoping I can order one with an M-Tech kit. I hope all the revisions that I've been hearing are going to happen (new iDrive, Shadowline trim + anthracite headliner, wider track in the rear wheels, etc), and I'm saving up some money now to have, so when I do pick up the next car I'm going to mod it right away

BTW I'm fiending for new info, I've been checking bimmerfile and E90Post every day religiously to see any updates lol..
