Will my BlueDriver work for a new battery install?

I already own a BlueDriver ODBII scanner which I've used on a multitude of cars. I may need to replace my 2011 E90 battery today. I have read various posts about coding and/or registering. I've also seen quite a bit about Carly and Bimmercode.

My question is will my BlueDriver do what I need to do after I install the battery? Let's assume I install another H7 acid battery. Is that just registering and not coding? On the other hand, if I go for AGM, it sounds like I need to code and register - will BlueDriver do that?

I'm asking since I already own BlueDriver. If you all tell me I need a different setup like Veepeak/Carly, I understand. Thank you.
