So I finally got my RR catless DPs installed, but.....

now, when my car sits at a light idling, I feel just a tad bit more vibration coming from my car when my hand is on the steering wheel.

Also, it was fine for the first 10 minutes while driving, but then the HALF ENGINE light came on, is that the CEL that you all are talking about?

In my I-drive window, it reads "Engine Malfunction, reduced power".......

So I stopped and shut off my car while in grid-lock traffic, when I started her back up, everything was fine again except for the vibration.

BUT after another 15-20 miles or so, the "Service Engine Soon" and the HALF ENGINE light came on at the same time........

So then I shut off my car AGAIN, then started her back up and the HALF ENGINE light went away but the "Service Engine Soon" light stayed on.......

What do you guys think, to those who has catless DPs?

I DO HAVE the O2 SIM from RR installed the same time as the DPs.

I'm thinking that my car needs a day or two of driving to adapt to the O2 SIM and catless DPs.......But I could be wrong, I hope not, but I could be.

If anyone from Riss Racing is reading this, please chime in. Any suggestions will be GREATLY appreciated!!

It has nothing to do with adaptation, it has to do with the sims being to strong or to weak. Contact RR and get some new ones.

Or... Maybe the sensors were re-installed in the wrong pipes.

So is this an assumption or it really did happen to you? I thought the same thing, only after leaving the shop and almost home.........

Thanks.

It has happened to another member that had DPs, o2 simms and was throwing codes. If you check the codes and post them people might be able to tell if it is caused by o2 sensors switched or if it is from the simms being to weak or strong....

The code was P0420 and P0430......They cleared it and also installed the extra adjustment harness. All the CEL and Service Engine Soon lights went away, gave her a few test runs, everything seem okay.

But the vibration still remains though.......That part of it didn't sound/feel normal to me, maybe the car just gets louder with the catless DPs, but I thought it still shouldn't vibrate like that.

Please chime in!!

Thanks
