disabling deceleration fuel cut off creates smoother acceleration?

Out of curiosity from looking at the parameters of the 128i vs 335i on this post: https://www.1addicts.com/forums/show...216642&page=2, I disabled the C0F_SCHUBABSCHALTUNG (DECELERATION FUEL CUT-OFF) by switching to wert_00 and the car (n51 328i) seems to accelerate better and smoother than when it was enabled.

I just gave questions about leaving it disabled and all:

I don't encounter hills often either so I don't feel it's that necessary anyways other than for fuel saving right?

Does having it disabled damage the CATs?

Does it mean there's something wrong with the fuel injectors or fuel system or is it because the fuel is being delivered consistently compared to being cut off and on when letting go of accelerator? (With it enabled I can feel a slight jerk when letting go of the accelerator and pressing it again.)
