Replaced everything & won't crank at all!! Help!!
Hi I have a 2009 bmw 335xi coupe. I literally replaced every components that will get this car up and going perfectly. I had to replace the alternator and the starter because all of it was super old and bad condition. Then I went and replace the battery too, so the car should be cranking right up perfectly. But when I tried to crank it, it wouldn't crank. All of the power and lights come on but it wouldn't crank. It would just go into accessory mode. Also when I step down onto the brake pedal it wouldn't really go down. It was like super firm and felt like as if something was putting pressure on it.
Could it be a blown fuse? If this happened to anyone of you guys can you please tell me how to fix it. I really don't want to tow my car to the dealership if I can absolutely avoid it. |

brake pedal sensor - easy to verify. Have someone look at your tails when you depress the brake pedal and/or record it.
You can code around this requirement, but for safety, I can't suggest it (even though I've done it). No brake lights - replace sensor Brake lights - code around it and see then. Also, the pedal will be hard, as the engine is not pulling vacuum to help out with the brake booster. |

I'd start with ground strap. Take your jumpers and connect anywhere on engine and anywhere on the body. Just metal to metal connection, and try to start it. Ground strap is located on drivers side by engine mount. It's super common

Hi so I replaced the ground strap and it still didn't crank. Idk why though. Is there anyway for me to post a video on here for you guys to see or hear what the problem is?
