Western Highway Has Arrived!!!!

For anyone on the Western Highway, it arrived in Charlston at 2:45 this morning and off loading of the cars started at 7:00 am!!!! Won't be long now!

i'm very excited....my SA told me 3-4 days after docking, so around monday, but i am hoping saturday is a possibility!

Wow, I'm amazed at how little time your CAs are saying it'll take for the car to get there. They must figure that the cars will speed thru VPC and then move pretty quickly up to the dealerships.

I'm so jealous, can't believe I have to wait another two weeks until PCD. I wouldn't trade PCD for anything, but I'm thinking of all the fun things I'd like to do over July 4th long weekend with a BMW!

yeah my CA/SA told me that the prep center doesnt take more than a day usually, and i'm roughly 12 hours from SC so he said some drivers can make that trip in 1 - 1.5 days!

hopefully he's telling the truth =)

Sigh... Dealer called... There were 2 cars on Western Highway going to Nashville. The other one will be there tomorrow, but mine won't make it until monday. So I won't be able to run up there till Thursday morning

So the website says my car is at prep center. Haven't heard anything from my dealer. I have no info, but i doubt i'll be getting it this week.

This is crap! how did you get your car so soon?

According to my CA, my car has been sitting at the VPC since 6/27. Will finally be shipped out to MN tomorrow and then arrive on Sunday. He says i can't pick it up sunday either because they are closed and then they need a day to prepare.

My car also sat in Germany for 15 days awaiting the Western Highway to come pick it up.

Aren't i lucky? I am extremely frustrated. I have been carless for several weeks.

I feel ya, man, it'll be over three weeks for me between cars, and it is making me nuts. I figure that the timing is imperfect, and there was a strange gap in early June with fewer boats going to the South (Charleston) I think. I'm telling myself that hte pain of waiting will just make it that much better when she arrives.

Well my car which was scheduled to be at my dealer yesterday "for some reason hasn't left the processing center yet".

Unbelievable.
