Has anyone replaced theirs? Can they point me to a good DIY of how to do it. The diagrams on RealOEM only do me so much good.

Make sure you follow all the necessary precautions for lifting and supporting your vehicle.

Remove the undertray.

You have to remove the underbrace #5 in this diagram:



Then you have to support the engine. You will be removing one side at a time (do one, finish, then do another). Remove one at a time these brackets: #12, then #13 or vice versa. You will have to unbolt the two long bolts attached to the engine mount on each side. Bolts are #7 in the diagram. Brackets themselves are held with bolts #14 to the front subframe, 5 on each side. Make sure you note that vacuum lines are routed through the two brackets mentioned above. When replacing the lines and reinstalling the brackets, you need to route the lines through the brackets, connect to the engine mount and then reinstall the brackets and engine mount bolts. Test your engine mounts while you are in there. They have to hold vacuum.



This is a bit of work, but needed to carefully remove the old vacuum lines off the little #7 90degree connectors attached into the engine mounts. I have also found that you do not need to replace the line past the T-connector #6, as the line #4 going to the EL valve is quite good and seems to live longer.



On the driver's side, I found that the vacuum line was pinched between the bracket and the underbrace. I have dremeled a bit more space. Your situation may be different.

Jesus man. I expected an anecdotal reply about the one time someone did it and it was difficult. Not a full blown DIY guide. Thank you so much! Thankfully this doesn't look too difficult.

Had a chance to take apart an old engine mount that I wanted to recycle. Mainly was trying to figure out why it was not holding vacuum. Here are a few photos. About 150ml/5flOz of fluid came out.
