Wheeler Dealers 335i touring

Did anyone watch the new Wheeler Dealers episode where Mike Brewer buys a 335i touring E91 and tries to modify it to “beat an ‘emm free”?

They put an exhaust, intercooler, induction kit, an LSD and a re-map and then drag race an E92 M3 and supposedly beat it in a straight line but the edit looked like utter nonsense to me.

Watched this yesterday, was an enjoyable episode I thought. Agree with the drag race though: I watch so many with Mat Watson on Carwow that I could tell this one was edited together from various runs and so we couldn't tell how they actually fared against each other.

As for buying the car for £5k, I thought that was a bit below its value, and I checked the MOT history to discover it's on 137k (so not terribly high) but has been out of MOT since June this year.

I loved seeing an E91 on the show and actually liked what they did to the car instead of completely ruining it but the race was a farce. I'd love to see how an actual race would go.
